This past weekend annie mac came state side to bless us with her beautiful music. We started out the night with fairly new dj/producer Doorly. (who also recently released his new Essential mix on BBC Radio 1.) He really surprised me with his vast amount of scratching and turntablism he brought to the table. He was dropping hip hop to dubstep to house to rock.
Then Annie Mac came too the stage and just blew me and julio away. Of course she opened with her new anthem "Danny Byrd — Ill Behaviour (Mac VIP)" Brought it with that ill behavia!! dirrrrrty drum and bass with a little dubstep and into that house beats just in time for one of my heroes at the moment....
Riva Starr..... He was just great all night and i didnt want him to stop. He dropped all the hits and none of the misses which made me very happy and left me wanting more...Please come back annie! it was one of the best Control's ive been to in a long time.
