Top 5 Albums of 2010.....so far....

I know 2010 just started but that doesnt mean that good music hasnt been released in this short amount of time. If you know me you are aware of the fact that i like a vast range of music from hip-hop (my first love) to techno, disco, rock and so on... if its good music ill listen! 

so here it is......

1. Delphic - Acolyte

Delphic is def a group you should be on the lookout for 2010! This album just blew my mind when i first heard it and i def think you shouldnt sleep on these guys. With a slew of remix's in the blogosphere you are not gonna be able to avoid them. And not to mention they are playing Coachella on sunday!!! Be there or b square!!!

2. Riva Starr - If Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade

Gosh Damn this man is on FIRE!!!! 2010 will be Riva's year for sure with a none stop flow of music coming from this man it is hard to avoid him. His remix of Enjoy Music is just amazing and with this album freshly released he is def on the top of my list to see this year! Come to L.A. damnit!!! i missed the Made to Play show at the Roxy so i have to see him next time 100%!!!

3. Yeasayer - Odd Blood

Thank you Hua! you should me this Album when it leaked and i was really impressed by the style that they have developed and i love the direction they are going. Its like The Beach Boys if they made electro-indie-rock. (makes sense in my head.) But this band also is playing Coachella on Friday so check them out if your going!!

4. Wu-Tang vs. The Beatles - Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers

 

Just got this album and i was kinda hesitant at first because we all know how mash-up albums can turn out. But this one really impressed me! I guess it was made by Tom Caruana who i do not know much about but i like! The flow of this album is really good and the beatles sound just amazing with THE W! He said that the album is made up of samples from the beatles and covers of all sorts of beatles songs that all mash-up into one big pot of gold!! check it out for yourself...

5. Breakbot - Baby I'm Yours EP

And last but not least...The newest member of the Ed Banger Crew Breakbot! This EP is his debut from our favorite Frenchies and i will say i am impressed. It is not your typical Ed Banger that we all have grown to love but it is the smoother sexier side of the label. My personal favorite 'Make You Mine' is so dope that its been on repeat since it came out! check out and support him cause i def can't wait to see what else he has up his sleeve.
